The first quarter of every year, we begin with the Coats & Socks Drive. With this drive, we ask our neighbors to take gently used or new coats that aren’t getting very much attention in their closets and donate it to Gifting Grace Project to give back to our children in need. We accept donations of NEW socks, throw blankets, coats, underwear, sleeping bags and more to make sure our babies are kept warm.
In the first quarter of 2021 we collected and donated 192 Coats and 686 pairs of Socks! With the help of our friends in the Kiwanis Club of Broussard and Youngsville, we were able to have these collected and delivered the week before the “Big Freeze of 2021”. This felt divine and confirmed we were on the right track to helping those in our community with meaningful necessities.
